Hello everyone,
I just purchased a 5.5in flagtail today and it looks great! I know that these are vegetarians, mainly feeding on algae, lettece, spinach, flakes and bloodworms...but my question is, well 2 questions actually:

1. can it eat algae waffers-cause the lfs guy was saying no, and I find that hard to believe...

2. I just want to know what you guys are feeding yours-besides what I just listed above...want to beef him up a bit before I put him in my 150 gal tank!!!

mines eats everything
 
it will eat waffers it eats everything i mean everything it even trys to eat the foam haha and the heater
 
Mine eats everything including wafers. I try to feed him lots of shrimp thou to bring out his redness. Another side note would be to watch him in case he starts going after slime coat!!!
 
thanks guys, I've heard of them going after the slime coats of others...is this a fact tho??? and thats great they eat shrimp-thats what I feed my other fish-you feed yours frozen gr8??
