Prochodilus/fei feng with Plants?

Nope. These prefer a planted tank. Plus, who cares about Anacharis anyway? Its a weed.

My experience is that Flagtails will eat any and all plant matter within a tank...

Fei fengs LOVE planted tanks...it's like being at a 24 hour all you can eat buffet. The plants typically don't fare too well. Although some of the thicker leaved plants like swords, cryptos and anubias might work out okay.

if you don't won't to keep the plants then sure it will make it very happy but would be expensive

Where do you come up with this stuff

You can get away with having them with some tough plants, but they are vegetarians/herbavorous, so plants will be eaten.
