Professional or College?

I love sports. All sports. I grew up watching football (soccer) in Brasil, and saw them take home 2 world cups. Sports are amazing. They keep you motivated, give you something to look forward to, brighten up your day, give you bragging rights, bring you closer to your friends, city, and even country. I don't know what I'd do without sports.

Ever since coming to the US from Brasil I've enjoyed watching professional leagues, especially NBA and NFL. Now, I've been a college student for 3 years, and have immersed myself in the college sports programs. I love going to games, painting up, cheering with friends, taunting rivals, tailgating, and feeling my school pride. In fact, I love it so much, I'm not sure anymore whether I prefer college sports or professional. It might not be a very hard decision is you never went to college, or your alma mater had no sports program, but which do you prefer?

On a related note, I'm having difficulty choosing between buying NCAA '09 and Madden '09. Any tips?

Keep in mind that I do not just mean level of the game. I am referring to the whole fan-hood experience, player attitudes, celebration, etc

College is better. Too many premadonna's in the pro's.

I like it mostly because there are so many more teams, hence so many more games to watch.

I've never played NCAA, but I have Madden 09 for 360 and I like it. My fiancee and I play at least a game every night...

I voted pro but only because I watch way more pro football and baseball than anything else.

At the same time, I love college football, dont watch any NBA except for the finals sometimes and I try to catch celtics games, but I could take it to leave it. College basketball I like more than pro NBA, but again I tend to only watch college basketball during march madness but I try to catch some of the good games during the season.

Favotite by far is Pro football, I watch every single game I can. Followed by MLB, I watch every single Red Sox game I can. College football next, then college BB with NBA a long way behind haha
