Pun intended
This dude, Nyatzi, is the reason I started a second wild caught Mikula tank. As some of you may recall,... Nyatzi was dethroned by Tau (in the 240-gallon tank) and I had to remove him to save his life. He did take some battle damage from Tau (Tau bit off his dorsal trailer and mangled his side fin - all has grown back but hints of damage remain). So, I decided this King needed a new kingdom and that was the birth of Mikula Group Ntayzi (125-gallon tank). I am so pleased that Nyatzi (in Setswana, his name is translated "the lover") is regaining his former splendor. His shyness is fading and he is posing for me again. He is the undisputed Alpha in the 125. His subjects, in the 125, include six newer wild caught Miks that I imported from Greg in the spring of 2014 (5 females and 1 male).
Happy to have this dude return to glory and to be able to start capturing it again too
Cheers,
Russ
