I've always been impressed by the wonderful progression threads done on this forum. With that being said, I've decided to create one for my Midevil "Stevie". Following this post today, my goal/intention is to update his progress 1 x monthly w/ pictures and info. Here is some quick info before I start:
Tank Size: 90G
Tankmates: 1 x BNP
Diet: NLS Large Fish Formula 3mm
WC Schedule: 1 x weekly @ 40%
Camera: Nikon D5100 w/ 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens.
Picture #1 (8/25/13): This is Stevie the day I brought him home. I saw amazing potential, but also recognized that he had some noticeable clouding in one eye (see pic). My goal was to devote an entire tank to him in order to let him reach his true potential. He's right around 6" here.

Pictures 2-3-4 (9/8/13): These were taken this morning before his morning NLS pellets. Needless to say, he has completely settled in and no longer allows my face/hands to get within one foot of his aquarium. I was able to mend his cloudy eye with a few extra wc's, Melafix, and some aquarium salt. In the two short weeks I've had him, he has grown an additional .5" and is really starting to fill out in girth/height. Nothing compliments my morning coffee more than watching him scrape his teeth against the glass if I get too close. These truly are amazing fish that fear very little once they develop their confidence. I hope you guys enjoy, and I look forward to updating his progress again in early Oct.
