Its been about 6months since i have setup my tank and this is my progress so far..

i started out with a aqua clear 70 and 2 ocellaris clowns
then upgraded to a pro clear aquatics 125 wet dry with an ro unit, uv filter and skimmer..

Added 70lbs of live rock, male mandarin and an angel fish and a cleaner crew consisting of blennies, crabs, cleaner shrimp and a sea slug.

added coralife 10,000K light which makes it look beautiful.. Also bought 3 pieces of coral not sure what type but I am very happy with the setup so far

What should i get/do next??

How long have you had the mandarin? It may be to early. Do you have a refugium for it? Mandarins need to eat LOTS of pods that usually are only sufficiently supplied by tanks with a mature Fuge, or large tanks with a lot of live rock that have been up for a year or so.

Other than that, nice tank! How many gallons is that?

My tank is 45 gallons, i thought this would be perfect for me because i was not experienced in saltwater, i didnt want to go too big or too small because i hear that that small tanks are hard to keep. I bought the rock from some guy who had his rock established for a few years, and i dont have a refugium how important is this??

and it looks like you got the seaclone skimmer (spitting mad micro bubbles in your tank)
in the future look into a better skimmer..

Yea man that freaking seaclone it sux but i will have to wait until after christmas to get a new one.. Any reccomendations on a $150 budget??

Could you get a close up of your corals I would love to see them..
Very nice looking rock by the way

I will post some pics up and maybe some of you guys can ID them for me, i would appreciate that thanks

If the rock is as old as he says, it might be fine. Keep a close eye on the Mandarin, if it looks like it's stomach is pushed in, it's not eating well. You may want to try feeding it frozen foods. Some mandarins accept it some don't. I think they may take Mysis shirmp. Not sure though.

As for a skimmer. Everyones been suggesting the Coralife ones for me. It's a hang-on-back so it should work for you.

I'm sure others will have other suggestions.

do you have a filter that already has been run for months up to a year? the mandarin is a very sensitive fish and needs to have pristine water conditions. you look like you know wat you are doing so good luck?

beutiful clown gl

3rd Picture is a Bubble tip Anemone. Last picture looks like an anemone too, but I could be wrong.

2nd Picture looks like some sort of soft coral.

Anemones are not corals and need to be feed weekly or so. They will die eventually if not fed. I feed mine diced peeled table shrimp every Monday and Friday.

Anemones can also walk around your tank. Keep an eye on it to make sure it does not harm your corals.
