HAHA yeah i was worried how things would go. This isnt the first time they have tried but its the first succesful time for sure. I had them in a different tank but they were never succesful spawns so I moved them into this 55gal and boom they bred within 1-2 days of being in and did it right this time! Now i just need to get my other pairs going lol.

Nice pair of green terrors. I breed them off and on. It takes a few attempts to get it right. I have a few tips for ya. #1. try using a terracotta plate they like a flat hard surface to clean and lay eggs on. #2 Sometimes if the pair of green terrors are in a tank that are in a busy spot in the house it can cause them to kinda stress and not breed or have successful spawns. Anyways good luck on your spawn!

Im just not a big fan of the clay pot look. I try to give them a flat natural surface.
The tank they are in now is off to its self so it should be much better suited for them.

Just now had a chance to watch your video....i have to say i love how much orange is on the tail of your male. Thats what im hoping this males^^ bothers turn out like. They already have alot more orange than this male and IMO are much nicer overall than this one but i really like how much red he has on his cheeks/face so i am trying to get a line thats best of both worlds but its a slow process
I hear that brother about it taking time! I started with a real nice high quality white saum male and he was the father to the gold saum in the video. In that video you saw I had a white saum female which I found and used to out cross into another blood line to add some fresh genes into my line. I am trying to produce another real high quality white saum with awesome color. I have kept 4 white saum juvies from that pairing and I am growing them out to see forsure what i am working with to breed back into my gold saum. Anyways I dont want to try hijack your thread just sharing my experiences.
I like line breeding green terrors I just wish it didnt take so long haha it can test a persons patience sometimes. So you have a male brother to the male GT in the video then? Hopefully he will turn out nice for you so you can use him.
