Thought id post some pics and get opions on my flowerhorn. It was bought at about 1.5-2 inches and have had him for 3 months now. If anyone can confirm my suspicions on it being a male ZZ or not. Thanks, and ill update pics every few weeks.

Its starting to do " the dance" with my synspilum. Not sure if its aggression or there pairing up
You know im not real sure! Neither one does it with the female JD who is same size and goes wherever she wants. The Syn and FH circle and shift color and sometimes lip lock for a second but not often. The Syn has her own space and a pot thats hers but the FH never tries to mess with her for the space. So i was just assuming they were dancing but it could be aggression. What should i look for to tell between the two?
