Picked up a little fh a month ago. FIgure a little thread to keep updated would be cool. Anyway, here he is on oct 1st when i picked him up at the petshop

Here he is after week one. Settled in and eating nls pellets 3x a day. By this time the family agreed on the name Prius for our new hybrid lol.

Quite a color and nuchal hump difference in just the 1st seven days.

Here he is as of tonight, nov 1st. He has put on close to 2" in just a month.

Thanks guys. I have been feeding him nls as a staple and shrimp as a treat once or twice a week. I keep the tank kind of on the warm side at about 84 degrees.

I try to switch it up a little bit. He gets quite a bit of veg. Based food thrown in here n there. (Staple for my mbuna)

I do have some of the green package hikari. Cichlid staple or something like that. NOt a fan of the gold. The red dye collor in it kinda turns me away i guess lol

Hikari is customer Friendly so no need to panic it's a good quality feed for fishes.
