Prolapse?

WOW so that fish ended up being a female after all. I am amazed. I would have totally thought that was a male, just like everyone else was thinking. That is 100% her egg tube that you see sticking down. Do you have a male that you can try and breed her with??

No just her unfortunately.

Thinking it was a prolapse I treated her water with Epsom, then saw the eggs. Did a 80% water change, siphoned out her eggs and now she's scared of everything and everyone. Really skittish like I've never seen before. Won't even eat, and she'd normally beg for food 24/7. She's never been scared of water changes either. Was nothing like this when I first got her. I'm really concerned.

I think she might be just shocked, might take some time.

Swimming around, dancing for food and digging her nests.
It was shock like you said Ruturaj Ruturaj .. I just stressed her out.
