20gal livebearer + barb community. No live plants except lucky bamboo in the filter because my son's apple snails demolish all live plants. I am working on growing some algae though, to take place of the role plants have. But so far the snails have eaten that too.

An ever changing tank to go with an ever changing fish. That marble gene is something else. This tank get a resacpe monthly (at least!)

A tank that's only changed like once in 3 months! A record for noodle.

The one tank that actually remains sorta stable as far as it looks.

Another tank that sees new stuff weekly. lol But for the past couple weeks it hasn't changed much.

A tank that changes it's inhabitants more then it's scape. The is the second most stable scape (second to the 3.5)

Yet another tank that used to get weekly rescapes. Its remained stable for about 2 weeks now. (my favorite tank)

Moral of the story: She's getting lazy. lol *

Noodle, you forgot the 2 jars, bowl, fry bucket and fry box. lol

*(we're friends so Im allowed to harass her. lol Not too many others are allowed to. lol)

I’m hoping when I rescape my 45 bowfront it will have a similar hard scape as your bowfront.
How is that coming? Did you get a new light yet?

I have the hard scape all planned, now I need to start getting the supplies. I was going to order a light, but it became unavailable on amazon, now it’s available again but $10 more. I’m going to a LFS on saturday to see if they have the light or any deals on a fluval 3.0. Since my rescaping project is costly(the light), I’m going to get all my supplies over the course of a month or 2(rocks, plants, and soil).

Have you updated that thread? Are you still going for the Stingray 2? What's your plan?

I’ll update my thread once when I get the light. I’m going for the Finnex planted 24/7 since I’ve been doing research and found the stingray might not have enough light for my tank, and this light has good reviews and seems better for taller tanks compared to the fluval. Plan: 1.get the light. 2. buy the rocks and put it with the driftwood to find a nice scape. 3. Get carbi eco soil, take out some sand in the middle of the tank and put in the soil and coving it back up with sand. 4. Buy the plants(java fern, micro sword, some kind of Rotala, and others I forgot the name of). 5. Take out all the fish, most water, plants, some sand, rocks, and wood from original scape, and start rescaping and put the fish and water back in.

What 24/7. The HLC I recommended? The price hasn't changed for me.
Good plan. I forgot what the thread was. Can you link me so we're not taking up space on noodles thread?
