Promoting polypterus health with Hikari

I read somewhere that Hikari is very good for polypterus and promotes growth, but what should i buy beacause that stuff is expensive.

Should I buy the Freeze-Dried food and which ones should i buy?

Or should I buy the frozen food(not-preferable) and which frozen foods should i buy?

To answer the OP question a little more, people are suggesting the expensive brand because there simply isn't a cheaper product that is as good.

I disagree. New Life Spectrum is considerably cheaper, and a significantly better food.

I use both. Thought NLS was just as pricey though, or at least I haven't noticed a difference. Maybe that's just my LFS.

That being said, my frontosa prefers it to hikari.

I feed Nls, never had Polys refuse it. Also I have had great growth... Which I have picture proof of. Also when buying in bulk Nls is about half the price

I don't get carnivore so massivore I break and give... Also gold lionhead sinking pellets are goood.... Nice growth and good for juvies....
