Put that fishy myth to rest....

:jaw::barf:

Don't shoot the messenger, found it on noobtube...;):nilly:

to begin with you're looking at the pleco from the side of the tank.. it looks to be about a 3 or 4 ft. long tank, 12 inches wide (as the narator says) he's just shooting it from the short side. yes the tank is too small for the pleco. BUT, the pleco has room to move and stretch out if he chooses.

"laziest sucker fish ever." What exactly does this moron expect it to do? SWIM AROUND? Oh wait!... It can't!

I can't fathom the nitrate reading on that tank's (if you wanna call it a tank) water.

How are you seeing the length from this video at all to guesstimate 3-4ft long?? I just rewatched it and can't see any angle what so ever that would be decent enough to guess the length of this tank.

I doubt the fish has room to move around. Even in the video comment box the owner states: "it just keeps growing even though he cant fit comfortably in the tank anymore.." Most kids on youtube see an inch of room in the tank and think "there is plenty of room!" so I'd be more inclined to think this tank surely isn't even 55g.

Maybe that fish is happy. Oh wait it has ich not enough filtration tank to small. Sorry had to give all the responses all the phd's have to say out there.
