IN YOUR HEAD
I got this in as a S.A. Bumblebee catfish. Looks like one but it is 8"+. Never seen them this big. Any thoughts? I couldn't find the species on planet catfish.

Interesting cat. With this pix it is not easy...

Could it be a small cephalosilurus?

That is it Pseudopimelodus Bufonius.

Thanks. I was looking all over and didn't see it. How common are they? I know my suplier has a tank full of them and they are all between 5-8".

Yep, a fully grown bufonis. IME they are not rare at all, just not as common as Pimelodus pictus. They come under different names. One is Zungaro bumblebee catfish.

I see. I have seen them in this supplier once an a while but not often. So I didn't know.
