Proper tankmates for future Aro??.....

I will be getting an Aro next week,i was thinking of a few Irredesant sharks,a couple of Fei Feng(think that is how it is spelled??)my Xingu Pike,and either a couple of Tri color sharks or maybe Tin foil sharks.What do you guys think??All suggestions are really appreciated!!Thanks!!!

What kind of arowana? What tank are you planning, the ID sharks will need even a bigger tank then a silver aro.

More than likly a Silver,heard to many bad things about Jars.Do you think the ID sharks would make good tankmates???What do you keep with your Aro??

ID sharks are schooling catfish that can get to be 4 foot long. Myself I have a pair of 2 foot silvers that are housed with 4x 5-6" red bay snooks, and an assortment of loaches and catfish in the 4-6" range. I have also had SA/CA cichlids and pink and blue gouramis with my silvers

I am not to crazy for Gourami's,but i do like the snooks(i probably couldnt find any around here though)i need some more ideas.

The id sharks tend to mess things around the tank.. Try a few dats.. maybe a gar and some bichirs..

How about a Clown knife???Or a Pacu for awhile???(my cousin works at the local museum and will take the pacu when it grows to large)Silver Dollars,and maybe a bicher??

they would be great tank mates
you can also keep a frontosa, but will have to get a big one
