My wild oscar willbbe here Friday that I ordered online (will be shipped thurs night) what's the proper method of introducing it to my empty 75? I figure let the bag float in tank for a bit, slowly pour some tank water into the bag, while eventually using a net to scoop it out and put into tank? Please give me your opinions ty

Drip acclimation: get a five gallon bucket, or something bigger depending on the size and a length of airline tubing that can reach from the tank to the holding container (bucket). A knot in the tubing then suck on one end as if you were siphoning for a water change. Key: make sure the knot is not too tight or too loose, i like to keep mine so its at 3 drips per second. Keep the drip going for like 45 minutes to an hour and then scoop the fish out of the water and place him in the tank.

I personally use this method every time i acclimate a fish/corals and I've had great luck with it.

Oh its that easy huh...and can I just use a big styrofoam cooler I got lol
