This has been a crap day, I came home to find my 17" ornate dead, so automatically I checked the tank parameters and all is good aside from temp a bit high(33*c) but I keep plenty of flow to keep the O2 up. so stumped i decided to open her up and inside i find 3 pebbles about a cm across in the gut, I'm guessing they're the culprit. Lesson learned, Bare bottom is the way to go with polys. Had this girl almost 2 years. sad to see her go.

I was so proud of this one. The wife wants me to find a new one this weekend, but I think I'll wait and find something truly special to replace her.
