ok i just picked up my new 125gal aquarium today and now i am trying to get in order what Iam going to decorate it with and use for my sub. u know the whole nine yards. This is what i am thinking and plz tell me if there is anything that maynot work (my main concern is the substrate gettig in the HOB filters)
125gal.
100lbs. 3M color quartz
1 or 2 koralia 4 powerheads
2 penguin 350Bs or 2 AC110s
1 FX5
No rock
No driftwood
just fake plants that i may have to silicone to the bottom b/c the current should be strong
the tank is going to be stocked with 6 or 7 RBPs. the 13 that i currently have finally outgrew my other 125 and not wanting to get rid of any of them i am setting up this new tank.
So the question would be is this setup going to work or will the sand be moved by the current (koralia 4s run 1200GPH), will the sand mess with the filters(either HOB or the FX5)
As u can tell I have never done a sand bottom before that is why i ask all this to make sure i don't screw it up lol
