Protein Skimmer Adjustment

Anybody know how to adjust this skimmer? Its a Euro Reef 135. It is going nuts with bubbles. It is in a 30 gal sump sitting in 8 inches of water. Tank was setup as a 75 gal mixed reef but had to chance it to my other tank and stand after a measurement snaffu. Long story.

So the 75 was set up for about 9 months before this weekend with live rock and softies. Have 3 dwarf angels, 2 Clowns, 2 tangs, 2 gobies, and a trigger. I'm just trying to figure out the settings on this skimmer.

The gray pipe should slide up and down to control the water level inside the skimmer. Start with it most of the way down and then go up from there so that the bubbles go about 3/4 the way up the throat.

dido, or take that p.o.s. off and put a gate valve on it, runs much better that way
