protein skimmer blowing micro bubbles ? how to fix ??

I neatend up the wires under my tank and had it all un pluged for a hour or two last night the skimmer has been blowing micro bubbles ever since

You can also incorporate a filter pad at the outtake depending on how you have it set up. This can help quite a bit.

Is your tank sumped? What sort of skimmer do you have?

I had this problem tonight actually, took a nylon sock and cut it to size. Then I took a zip-tie and fastened it to the outlet pipe. No more bubbles in the tank for me!

Just make sure you clean this sock when you do other maintenance otherwise wastes will build up in there and compromise water quality.
