Protein Skimmer Help

So I acquired this from a bought used bundle a while back. I believe it was being run on a sw sump. I know it's a hob protein skimmer. Figured I'd install it on my 30g sw. I assumed I'd be able to just see a brand on it and Google a manual but I don't see one.... anyone able to identify this thing so I can read a manual and see how it works and is installed? I see maxi jet on the pump but i don't think that's same for protein skimmer cause I don't see it when I Google maxi jet hob protein skimmer.

I have the big brother version of that kicking around in my shed. I'll see if it has a label on it. Off hand, I can't recall the name of the manufacturer. The pump is pretty easy to upgrade to a pinwheel impeller using a BioBall.

Aqua Sea Remora skimmer.

Scratch the idea of the pin wheel impeller. The Remora won't work with that modification. There is a rather finicky orfice that requires the pump to be at its original specs.

Heard. Alright I'm gonna check out the manual and see if I can't get this thing running. Not sure if I'm gonna put it on the 30g sw or maybe the sump on my 240. Think protein skimmer has any positive effects on a fw sump?

Use it on the 30g. FW has to be too far out of wack before a skimmer will help.
