protien skimmer for a 125 reef?

So I set up a 125 reef, My lfs has been great. The owner has been honest and I feel like can trus his advice, however I feel it never hurts to get the advice of some vetrans and fellow mfk members. So what brand and model of protien skimmer would you guys recomend? I only have about 27" of height to work with because I foolishly bought the stand instead of built a misake I didnt make with the hood.

I had a Remora Pro on my 90g. Worked well for me, but may be pushing it for a 125. Others will say not very good. It's a hang on type that I kept in my sump. Might be perfect for the space you're working with. Has a pretty small footprint.

+1, love remora skimmers, love the price, and the customer service is awesome.

That being said, one wont cut it with a 125g, you could do two...and if you wanted to run them down in the sump you could buy the "urchin" version.

lots of good skimmers on the market. aqua c, lifereef,octopus, ect. i would oversize it. get 1 thats good for 250gals.

I have a SWC 200 on mine which kicks ass. Although, I would go with the new reef octopus skimmers with the bubble blaster pumps.
