Hi guys, i finally got one!!! Check him out and tell me what you think. Also I am wondering what is the best way to bring out his color and to get rid of the the lite spots on his body?

Feed him alot of shrimp, its rich in carotene. Surely will perk his colour up

Nice fire eel mine is only 20"s. I cant wait for it to get huge. Thanks for tge info on the shrimp mine has a few grey spots also.

nightcrawlers, nothing imo better. my guys had amazing colors just from good food and clean water. those look like scuff marks, mine use to get them from biteing eachother. tankmates/rubbing on decor/ heaters will all cause them. he also seems to be breathing abit hard. im assumeing the video was taken soon after acclimation? they also developed a more ashy belly as they get bigger so its particularly noticable after a good feeding.
