Umm, so in about the last week my apple snails have started to breed, at first I was a little excited and it was cool to watch the female lay the eggs but now 6 batches of eggs later its getting rediculous. But my question is, at what point are the offspring going to start breeding themselves, and if I cant sell/give them away of them before hand is their a way that i can encourage them NOT to mate?

ill takr somr

I don't think you can keep them from breeding but you don't have to let the eggs hatch out.

find someone with a frshwater puffer and they will be your best friend in exchange for feeder snails

I would be interested in a lot of them...... I keep saying I'm going to set up a 120 with nothing but apple snails.

Ditto. Since the eggs are above the water level, you won't even get wet hands :D I had breeding apples myself, it's fun to watch. And I don't think the babies will reproduce anytime soon. How big are they now?

Congrats!
