Today I made an impulsive buy, a peacock eel. I feel really lucky, because he isn't shy at all!! He's spent all day exploring my community tank, and posing while I take pictures.

I've got a Peacock Eel too. He loves to do his head bob "dance" right up next to the glass. He's saying: "Look at me!! Look at me!!" He loves the attention he gets. I spent about 20 minutes last night just watching him. He's so funny!
And I love the fact that he is not shy at all. He'll hide during the day, but at night he comes out and does his "dance" and roams all around my 80gal. show. I just have to think about a name for him now. He deserves one. lol

Lol. Mine doesn't do the bobbing thing, but he's always visible. He used to wind himself around the tube from my HOB filter, and it freaked me out because every time I saw it I'd have to poke him to make sure he was alive. I moved my bubbler to underneath and he doesn't like it, so now during the day he coils himself in around my thermometer.
