Well...just got a PS3 and looking for game recommendations So far I got Fairtale Fights and Mini Ninjas. I'm not a fan of first person shooter games, so those are out.

i dont own a PS3 but i loved playing gran turismo and GTA games on PS2. you cant not own a GTA game. teaches you everything you need to know about life

god af war kicks ass, so you should definitely get god of war 3 when it comes out around next march. gran turismo 5 is also coming out next year and gran turismo is the best racing series ive ever played.

I really enjoyed Valkyria Chronicles. I thought it looked stupid but when I played the demo I was hooked.
I also love Disgaea, if you want something that will suck away hundreds of hours.
Dynasty Warriors 6 is good times.

hmmm shame you don't like FPS, there are basically too many of them, so bad times for you! Killzone 2 was epic.

I dunno, what kinda games you into?
Racing... motorstorm pacific rift, wipeout HD and HD fury (PSN), burnout paradise, grid etc. wouldn't bother with Gran turismo 5: prologue now unless you really want a sim right now, cause GT5 will be out first half of next year.

RPGs... valkyria chronicles, demon souls, fallout 3 (i hate it lots seem to love it), dragon age origins, folklore etc.
