How many Pseudacanthicus would be able to occupy a 150 gal 72x18 ?

Could i keep an L600, L273, and either an L160 or L97 together or would there be too much fighting ?

What are some good online sources for plecos ?

Thx guys. I had to rehome my L600 awhile ago and just recently my L200 passed away. In the next few month i should be freeing up my 150 and wanted to get back inot the pleco game.

I think you'd be fine as long as there was enough hiding spots. At one point I kept a 12" l600 and a 12" l114 in a 4x2x2 120 with no issues.

Thx man

Anyone know if L273 are hiders ?

Bump...
Anyone have input on L273 ? Shy/hider or out and about ?

My titanic hid a lot last time.

They are not as bold as say, L96/160 that I kept last time.

150 gal will be fine. Get some DW inside and the plecos will like the extra footprint by latching onto the wood. :)

Prettiest fish always hide smh

273 has a slender body shape unlike any other pseudas and some variants have amazing metallic sheen - especially those rose gold colors.

The drawback is they will gradually lose their colors as they grow larger. By the time they hit 8-9 inches, possibly patches of color remnants remained on the lower part. :(

Ive only seen pics on the net and it seems like most of the adults lose most of the coloring on the head and upper body.

Did you keep yours till adulthood ?

That's pretty much why I quit keeping plecos. Most amazing looking fish..... That you never see.

Smh i hear ya. Figure if its a mostly pleco tank my chances will be decent that a couple of them will be outgoing...probably not
