I've had a recent interest in these Pseudacanthicus, but I know most of them grew rather large and were thus out reach for a 75. However I recently stumbled upon the L097 which according to Planet catfish grows to about 10in. and this is where I run into my issue. Planet catfish seems to be the only place I can find info on these guys.
So I was wondering does anyone here have any info on these guys?

I have had one for about 2 years now. And started out about 8 inches and is about 10 now. Slow growers. I have a bout thirty other plecos and he by far is the meanest one in there. Pretty peaceful and will hide when not eating. Ugly as hell but pretty at the same time. Do not ever try to pick him up without gloves. They are spiney as crap. Not very picky when it comes to eating.

Some L97s will keep there spots longer than others. Some adults will be almost all black. So not as appealing as when they have that strong contrast of black and yellow spots.

There are a few spawning reports of them as well. But 75 might be a bit cramped for life. 125 would be much more comfortable
