Pseudancistrus L-259 need some info

I was thinking about picking some of these up but need some basic info first. Info on diet, temperment, and any other general info you guys might be able to give me would be very helpful.

When first introduced to the tank, make sure to add some clove oil, it relaxes them and eases the transition into the home aquarium, It is excellent to add daily to condition the fish!

Isn't clove also used to "knock out" puffers so you can gring their teeth if necessary?( I practice I don't agree with btw) What, if any, are the long term affects of continuos use of something like that? Not attacking, just asking.

Yes it is also used to euthanize fish cleanly and "without pain". I wouldn't personally do it if you don't know the dosages. There is really no need to either. Their care is similar to most other pseudos, a protein based diet, and lots of good hides, they are fairly shy. They are really interesting looking plecs.

Pseudancistrus should be fed with a vegetable-based diet. Don't use clove oil.
