Pseudopimelodus bufonius with adult peacock cichlid?

I'm looking forward to ordering a pseudopimelodus bufonius and was wondering if adult male peacock cichlids would be a suitable tankmates. If not can I do rockwork that only the peacock cichlids could hide in? It would also be helpful if you guys had any success keeping these guys with smaller fish and could give me some tips.

I am confused, bufonius are not big cats, why should adult Cichla need to hide ?

Cichla attack and eat anything that moves and fits, tho other cichlids and plecos can push the line.

Both pred cats aswell as cichla are not good tankmates for smaller fish.

They get 10-12 inches
