Help!!! We are absolute beginners at this. I just saw our PS spawning, I have a ten gallon set up for her, when should I take her out, should I take her out, any suggestions, or help would be appreciated!!
Pseudotropheus Socolifi just spawned...what do I do now!!

Give it about 14 days then put her in the 10 gallon.

The male in the tank is a little on the aggressive side, there are other fish in the tank as well, 7 firemouth, 3 moori, 3 fronts, and 2 other powderblue cichlids, she is staying to one side of the tank hiding(somewhat) in the plants, should we move her to give her some peace while she is holding??
Is moving her sooner better than later??

I just accidently stripped my p. acei. I didn't know she was holding and she has been with the other fish the whole time. I did seperate my auratus that I know is holding about 2 days ago. She is actually more restless away from the "group" but I don't want to go through the hassle of catching her again in my 125. Both my acei and auratus hung out in the rocks and chased other fish away from them.
Thanks for the info. I'll keep a close eye on her and see how it goes...the tank is ready for her whenever we need to move her. We just got her about a month ago and she was holding when we put her in the tank. We didn't know and she released about 4 fry when we put her in and they we quickly gobbled up. We want to try to avoid that as much as possible this time.

My husband says we are now crossing over to the dark side LOL.
You cant go back after you witness the "conception". I was lucky enough to see them from across the room and was able to catch all of the "action" Pretty cool stuff!!I'm already hooked!!

We have officially bred our first fish!!!
We now have 5 cute little guys!!
Our P.Socolofi has been holding for about 18 days. I finally got up the nerve to strip her. I put her back in with the male and ...boy was he happy to see her!! It was way too cool!!
