  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
gorgeous angels u have! i remember seeing amano's altum tank like years ago and since then ive always wanted some. beautiful fish, disgusting tank lol take care of that BGA or cyanobacteria! (hate that stuff n it stinks too)lol

they dont look like they mind a whole lot... how big is their regular home? i love the clean stripes on them and in person altum colors are amazing, id love a pair for a tank im setting up but i think 36x18x20 would be too small.

That is their regular home, but wasn't intended to be their home originally. I occasionally park other fish in there and move them out etc. It's a 40B tank, and so far it's been ok for them but now it seems like they would appreciate a bit more depth. I have a very deep layer of substrate in that tank, so it takes up around 4 inches of the depth. They could go in my 125, or some other tanks I have but haven't given much thought yet. They seem to love the tank despite the cyano, roam around in there alot, they eat well, great personality etc. And I agree, I think altums are nice, they are my fav angel fish.

Here's an older pic of them.

Good stuff man. Post some pics if you ever get them, I'll be looking to grab a few more myself when they're back in season.

Would love to see an update of your rhom as well :)

Great looking fish. A little tetracyclene will clear thet Cyano up pretty fast.
