I'm going to my native Puerto Rico in about a month for the first time since I moved to the NJ in 1996.

Just wondering if anyone has been there ? and how was your experience ?

Isabela on the west coast of the island,great town and I may actually move there in the future....Some bodies of water on the island are stocked with peacock bass.

Yea and many others have oscars and other SA/CA cichlids......Me and my pops used to catch them all the time.

Where will you be staying at?

for a week in my aunt house in Manati PR...which is in the north and then the other week I rented a beach house in Cabo Rojo in the south west of the island

I was there in sept. Even my sweat was sweating lol.

I went there last year it was beautiful out there. I stayed with my girlfriend's family at the time in a beach house in Cabo Rojo. Included a couple of pics, and if you look real close you can see me and my ex-girlfriends brother in law drinkin beer in the surf.
