Puffer clear poop?

Im not sure if it’s stress or has hex he only eats live so I can’t medicate the food he’s been pooping long stringy clear poop with little pods in it. I’m going to have to treat the water should I use api general cure which I need to go get or would prazipro work? I have prazipro on hand but I’m not quite sure if it would work for internal parasites. He’s 7” fahaka

Sounds like internal parasites to me... prazi i’ve heard works as well as Jungle Parasite Tablets or something like that...

If you must feed live, best bet is to quarantine and make sure the food is free of parasites or even better breed your own crays or something...

But honestly best thing to do is try and train it to eat pellets unless its a congo puffer or something...

I think it’s internal parasites as well. Should I treat the whole tank with the prazipro I have on hand (I don’t think it works on hex) ? Or wait until the seachem metroplex arrives in mail and use that?

Prqzi won’t work on hexemita. Try the prazipro and see if things change. Can add the metro later if needed.
