i have been really wanting to have a puffer tank but i am not sure what puffers go well together can a Tetraodon nigroviridis(spotted puffer) Tetraodon biocellatus(figure eight puffer) and a Colomesus asellus(south american puffer) the tank i am looking at will probibly start out as a 55 gal and then i will be upgrading that one in about 6 months what do you guys think i really do want an all puffer tank.

Those species can't go together. The Figure8's are low end brackish; the green spotted are mid to hi end brackish and more aggressive; and the south americans are freshwater. Of all of them the best to keep together are the south americans- they actually do well in groups. Most puffers ar not tolerant of their own kind and some are down right killers. Before you decide on a puffer(s) please check out the Pufferpedia at
