Can I put a puffer fish (not sure what breed open to suggestions if possible) in with my loaches???? 3 weather, 4 kuhli, 1 zipper, 1 red fin shark, currently in a 55 gal, with plans in the near future of 100+....

No. I wouldn't combine a puffer with anything else regardless of species. Puffers will kill their tank mates eventually. They are a very predatory and "curious" fish that will "sample" anything that it wants by taking a large bite out of it, if it doesn't outright eat it.
