Hey guys, I'm looking for a big circular puffer fish for a 155 gallon freshwater tank, he'll be the center piece for it:) Know anywhere to get it? I'm in Calgary

Puffers are only circular when they inflate...a mbu is about the "friendliest" big puffer.

^ yes. but a MBU will also require a tank much larger than just 155G... infact, more like close to 4 times that size...

A Fahaka on the other hand could live in there by itself quite happily for life (and if i remember correctly i've heard they are easy to find in Canada?)... just be sure to watch your fingers as it gets older though, especially if he/she is nippy...

He has to live alone in a 155 g?

Fahakas cant have any tankmates..like most puffers lol..The only peaceful ones I know of are mbus and SA's :(

Well, I'm looking for a community 155gallon tank. Who knew fish could be so hard to organize:) Well, then maybe a stingray (small one) would be a nice one with come cichlids? plecos? *shrugs* I dunno man.

there arent really any small rays.. all of them are either very very sensitive..or very very rare :)

Not having much luck..lol :)

hystrix could work...if you can find one :)

Schweeeeeet, I really want one, I have 6 months before the tank is even ready for fish, I'm getting all the plant growth and C02 injection setup... then some schooling fish to cycle the tank and presto, ready for the big hitters.
