hello, i recently purchased feeder fish for my piranhas and found a baby puffer fish in the mix..... hes obviously fresh water. but from my knowledge i understand that they can be moved from fresh to brakish to salt. i have a 10 gallon salt water that just finished cycling and i wanted to get a baby puffer for it. seems meant to be haha but im not sure if the move can be made. and if it can does anyone know how? pls help thanks

It is possible it might be a FW puffer. Look here for ID:

Okay, unless i'm mistaken, i don't think any of the Saltwater puffers can live out their entire life in a 10G though... so be prepared to upgrade if necessary...

But i agree that you should first check out pufferpunk's page to get an ID on what type of puffer it is before planning the acclamation process just incase you don't need to do it...

Very true... Puffers are quite poisonous. I wonder how he got in with GF?
