One of my 6" GSP's has a white spot on his belly. I thought it looked like a burn from the heater, but its kinda fuzzy.
Water parameters are all good, i'm doing water changes every 48 hours, and treated for fungus with PARAGUARD.
Please take a look at the vid. it looks like its spreading.

I would lean more toward a bacterial infection not a fungal infection. Quite possible you have some secondary fungal infection but that should clear on its own if you correctly treat the bacterial infection. You may be able to treat with MB with dipping but regardless of treatment providing this with clean low nitrate water will benefit the most.

Is this fish freshly imported?
Obama's a Walmart rescue, with us for about 2 years. He shares a 125 with 3 other 6" gsp's and Ceylon, all Walmart survivors.

I will dip him in MB. Can I put anything directly on it?
Should I medicate the tank? What do you recommend?

GSP are pretty tough. You could try swabbing with diluted betadine but wouldnt do both, either MB or beta swab. The fish doesnt look terribly infected but after the importation and distribution process they all seem prone to bacterial infection.

Doesn't look like anything MB baths or swabs won't take care of. Don't treat the whole tank unless you're prepared for a potential mini cycle. MB can be tough on beneficial bacterial.

Yes, I've treated over 300 rescue puffers. They get parasite meds orally and the group stays together through quarantine and rehab for 2 to 4 weeks. They are dying of starvation, and stress because Walmart was told by the supplier to feed them flakes. Even with individual care, I've lost about 25%. I currently have 64 for adoption.
