puffer ID please!

OKAY. So a few months ago, I purchased some driftwood for my tank and to my surprise, there was a pufferfish hiding in the driftwood! I'm in need of a species ID. I believe it's a red eyed species but I'm not sure.

right now he/she is in a 55gal community tank and eating freezed dried krill. Anyone think this guy will pose a problem later on? he's not aggressive towards the other fish at all.

lol i suspected red eyed red tailed. surprisingly, he keeps to himself and doesnt chase or even bother looking at the other fish. it's been 3 months and he's as gentle as ever. I just hope he wont turn on me all of a sudden --_--

Wow he's beautiful..thats a male. Females dont have red tails. Can you check if that LFS have red eye red tail puffer (c.irrubesco) for sale

sorry, i actually picked up the driftwood from Cooper at Fish Etc. during his closing sale. so everything he had is pretty much gone since he closed shop....and i dont even think he knew he had this little guy since it came with my driftwood. weird.

I hope he stays nice. Be sure to feed him crunchy foods for his teeth.
