OK, thanks for all the reply, I work in a shrimp farm, and every time we harvest the shrimp and drain the pond, we have many of these guys found in the same pond, possibly, the water that we pump from sea carries their eggs, therefor they grow up in the pond. There is little thing we could do about this, but when I saw one I always pick it up and release it back to the sea.

I was thinking about it, but I live so far away from the beach, so I could not get the salt water, could I use the aquarium salt instead?
We are currently building a house near the farm, so when its finish I might build a big tank and have several of those puffers in it.
Truly, I wish many puffer lovers could just take those puffer away with them.
