Hi guys,
I bought this as a Baileys or Hairy Puffer but am unsure due to its complete lack of 'hairs' or cirri. I understand that these are age and sex dependent but thought I would seek some advice from the forum. Might it be a congo puffer for example?
In terms of behaviour it has mostly hung out in the driftwood cave but I did find him buried in the sand one morning which made me suspicious as I would associate this behaviour more with Congo/Potato puffers.
Feeding wise he completely ignores cockles in the shell but will rush out to gobble down deshelled cockles placed in the tank on the end of a wooden skewer.
Anyway, any help is appreciated.
Hopefully the picture is attached properly.
