So I bought red wigglers to feed my RTCxTSN and my TSN and I fed them last night and this morning my TSN had a flat belly and I realized that he had thrown up all the worms.. so is my RTCxTSN. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Have they been eating regularly prior to this? What have they been eating?

The RTCxTSN has been eating raw shrimp and fish filet. The TSN was being starved to get him off feeders with no success at all, I've tried shrimp, fish filet, garlic smelling pellets and shrimp mixed with garlic smelling pellets, he moves around the tank all night long without trying any food until last night that he ate red wigglers.. about 10 days ago was the last time he ate feeders. I don't want to keep feeding him feeders.

Have you tried night-crawlers(earthworms)?

Well they are a kind of earthworms but I'm not sure if there's any real difference between feeding them this and night crawlers.. is there?

When I was helping my buddy raise his rtc in my 300 gallon he was on feeders and I started throwing night crawlers and he started eating it like crazy! He didn't have any problems with keeping it down and that's how we got that little fella to take pellets by breakin massivore pellets into little pieces and pushing it into the night crawler. I use to feed that tank it was in only massivore and I noticed he started going around and eating the pellets when I fed the other fish. Before it would just come out and look at it circle it then move on. Just sharing my experience with catfish only eating feeders.

If you can get appropriately sized whole fish that may be a better stepping stone for getting the TSN off feeders. Mine took to whole fish stuffed with pellets right away. Asian markets tend to have very small fish available.
I know redworms and night crawlers are quite different, though I don't know how big a difference regarding nutrition or digestibility.

Night crawlers are high in protein and vitamins don't know exactly what kind of vitamins but I'm sure with a little research you can find out.

Red wigglers are a nice food. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eisenia_fetida

If they both threw up, something is wrong. What are your water parameters?

Were the worms from a reliable source? Fresh, live, frozen-thawed? (in the latter case could have been a bit rotten - this is widely known to happen with bloodworms to the extent that people stopped buying certain brands; Hikari is reliable)

The worms could have been fed tainted foods or picked up a toxic chemical or something. But it is not only the worms that need to be analyzed. I'd turn my utmost attention to my tank and the water.

Water temperature is important to healthy digestion.

Finally, regurgitation is sometimes a symptom of internal parasitic action. I tend to think this is quite rare though, IME anyway.

I think you got a wrong species of red wigglers.....apparently not all red wigglers are good feeders and some species may be a little toxic or distasteful to most predators.
