i went to do a water change this morning and completed it then when i turned my pump on it just hummed.....i tapped it with a rubber mallet
and wouldnt kick on...i messed with it for about 20 minutes and it started to smell bad and get real hot...i went on craigslist and found a pump and filter setup for 45 bucks....thats a good thing cause im broke..lol i was worried i couldnt get it going for a few days and might lose all my fish. in the mean time i found my leak, its on the suction side of the pump, i wonder if thats why my pump messed up is becuase it was pulling air. any way everyone have a great day.
