Pump for 240gal sump?

Got my new tank coming soon and I'm trying to get together everything I need for my sump. I've got the glass and silicone and plumbing taken care of as well as the 75 gal sump tank but need help choosing an appropriate return pump. Never built a sump so this is all new for me and i could use all the help i can get.

I'm draining through a single 1.5" overflow in the center of the tank. I like the reef octopus varios6 but thought y'all might know a better, more economic, or more precise matchup for what I'm trying to do. Its rated for over 1700 gph but apparently offers quite a bit of flow control.

No experience with the pump you mentioned. Allot of us have been using the jebao pumps. I use dct 12000's but Fish Tank Travis has a great write up on the newer dcp series. Search his threads

I love my Jebao, it's been running great for over a year non-stop. Its very quiet as well.
