Pump up 4 feet high

Alright; I am just about ready to put together my hydroponic wet/dry http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33590 now I need to decide on a pump...

I don't want to spend too much, but I would like to get about 200 gph to rise about 4 feet. I know some people use a powerhead rather than a pump, and I am not against that, but I know the flow loss is greater on a PH.

This setup will terminate into a 3/4 inch DIY spraybar about 36 inches long.

The tank will still use the HOB Penguin 350B so the flow rate is not over important, this project is more about experience than filtration.

Not quite enough, thats only 60 gph at 4 feet high, I am looking for 200@4ft Thanks for the response though

Did you check out that pump at harbor freight for $30...something like 1800gph (@ 0 feet)just bypass what you don't need back to the tank or pump.

The model 1200 will pump 200 gph at 4 feet. Click the "more information" button under the picture and it will give you a chart with the gph at different heights.

I might just do the 2200 about 380 @ 4 feet jjust in case I want to use this filter full-time Thanks for the find..
