pump water to tank

Does any one know of anything that i can use to attach either to a tap or shower to enable me to pump the water in to a tank?

I added a hose tap in the basement to do easy water changes.
A hose works well, or a python.

$4 at homedepot... its near the toilets.. the pvc piece is like $0.30.. then 1/2pvc $2 for a 10' stick... to 3/4ID vinyl hose $0.40 a foot...

you can either go straight to the tank (treat the tank first.. it says so on the bottle... trust me.. its there read it again)
or fill a rubbermaid tub and then use a pump to get it in the tank.... a large powerhead will also work if you put the rubbermaid tub on a table or something... using a powerhead from the floor to the tank is too much head for prettymuch all powerheads... you can get cheap pumps online for like $20

you can buy a water bed fill kit if you cant buy a python
