Pumpkin Seeds

Finally found a use for the thousand of pumpkin seeds in the kitchen after the kids carved pumpkins. My pacu is very happy and happily munches on them.

Do they eat the shells too?

most of the shell but I do have to scoop out the occasional piece. They really are incredible eaters. After seeing them eat some medium size snails I knew that pumpkin seeds were not going to be any kind of issue.

Yes and I haven't been doing a good enough job getting them their correct diet.

I have seen these fish eat almonds in the shell....pretty cool for a fish.
