Pumpkinseed and bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good chance that cory could possibly become bass food at some point.......which would probably have bad results for both fish

Better remove the Cory catfish....

Sorry for hijacking your thread OP

The Cory is out now, I didn't even know he was in the tank until I took that picture, must have been from when I kept tropicals. The pumpkinseed is my buddy, just wish he would eat the pellets, one day I guess. The largemouth is gaining my respect. He's adjusted quite well to tank like even though he's only been in there maybe a week. He has healed up quite well( I got him in rod and reel. But when I was bringing him in a larger largemouth thought it was bait and took a couple nasty bites off his tail) the bastard ate all of my flatheads, and two very small bullheads I caught within the first hour of tank life. He may become top of the food chain pretty shortly here if he continues to eat like that. But this is just temporary, for him at least. When he gets bigger I'm putting him in my neighbors pond and getting another small one and repeating myself this cycle.

If I ever caught a golden bass (or any color morph) I would keep that for sure haha I get so excited when I see pictures of them but then it's like how often does that happen. I've been going down to the river by my house for like 15 years and have only seen an albino tadpole. Which was still cool
