Pumpkinseeds.

Just posting a few pictures of my pumpkinseeds.
North American species are quite hard to come by over here, we only have red shiner, blackbanded sunfish, pumpkinseed, florida/spotted gar and alligator gar. I'd love to get my hands on some longear and a bowfin.

I have 2 that are about 5" now but only one wanted to pose for me.

Found them but can't get them. The problem is that it would cost so much more that it's worth to have some shipped over here.
I just can't understand why people prefer those goldfishes and koi when a longear in breedingcolours is one of the most beautiful fishes in the world.

My sentiments exactly. All goldfish and Koi should be raised to be food for other bigger fish.
